Orion Sells Two Neighboring Retail Strip Centers in Tampa, Fla.

During the fourth quarter of 2017, Orion Real Estate Group completed the sales of two adjacent retail strip centers in Tampa, Fla., to two separate private investors. The combined deals are valued at more than $8 million.

 

Orion originally purchased the 17.5-acre tract of multiple commercial properties located on Fowler Ave., across from the University Mall and west of the University of South Florida, in 2012. The company subsequently improved the real estate value by upgrading the land, replatting it into two separate properties and fully leasing the retail space.

 

Current tenants at the 30,601-square-foot strip center located at 1805 – 1835C East Fowler Ave. include Sherwin Williams, Subway, Wireless World. Existing tenants at the adjacent 16,388-square-foot strip center, located at 1715-1727 East Fowler Ave., include Party City, and Gold and Diamond Tampa Jewelry Store.
